I've got good news, we've gotten one huge step closer to financial independence and being rich...rich enough at least to attempt everything on my list.
WE'RE DEBT FREE!!
That's right. I discovered Dave Ramsey (www.daveramsey.com) about a year and a half ago and got my wife on board to do everything we could to get entirely out of debt, and as of April, we did it! We paid off both of our cars, a family trip, my eye surgery, all of our credit cards, and...(drum roll)...a $25,000 home equity loan!!
Yes, it's amazing. I feel so proud of my family for this achievement, you just don't know.

My husband and I just sold our house and moved to a city where housing costs a lot less, so in a few days we'll be debt-free too!!! WOOT!
